Baggage & Carry On


The Checked Baggage & Hand Luggage Allowance on Fly Armenia Airways are as follows:

     Baggage - Economy Class: 1 x 25 kg ​   
 Baggage - Business Class: 2 x 25 kg
 Carry-On - Economy Class: 1 x 10 kg​    
 Carry-On - Business Class: 2 x 10 kg

The maximum weight of one piece of checked baggage should be no more than 32 kg, with 25 kg of checked baggage included in your ticket price. You have to pay 8 USD for each excess kg over 25 kg․

Checked baggage must not exceed a total size (width + height + depth) of 158 cm.
If your baggage item does exceed these dimensions, Fly Armenia Airways will charge for excess baggage. Excess baggage should not exceed a total size (width + height + depth) of 292 cm.

Hand baggage will be accepted on board only with hand baggage tag, given to each passenger at check-in counter at the airport.

Musical instruments, sports equipment and walking aids will be transported FREE OF CHARGE. Depending upon weight and size, transportation of musical instruments and sports equipment is possible as carry-on baggage or as excess baggage. Only one musical instrument is allowed per each passenger. The largest musical instrument which is allowed on board as carry-on baggage is the Violin. Please note this is not valid for orchestras

If you'd like to transport more baggage items than permitted, you can buy extra baggage during purchasing a ticket via our website or during check-in at the airport. Only one extra piece is permitted per passenger.

Sports weapons may be permitted as baggage at our discretion. They must be unloaded and have the safety catch on. Carriage of ammunition is subject to ICAO and IATA regulations. Items which are likely to endanger the aircraft or persons or property on board of the aircraft, such as those specified in the ICAO or IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, which are obtainable from us or the travel agency that issued the ticket.
